There will be a KakaoTalk Open Chat available during the conference for any on-site related questions as well!

A: All UKC programs, including FIRE, will be held at the Hyatt Regency SFO. There will be a shuttle bus available from the terminal to get to the hotel. The hotel is separated from the airport!

A: You must attend all FIRE sessions to receive reimbursement. Any missed sessions will result in reimbursement deduction. There will be an electronic form sent to you after the conference, and a check will be mailed to your address thereafter.

A: Check-in is at 3PM and Check-out is at 12PM.

A: We suggest coming in either business casual or business professional for the conference programs.

A: We recommend arriving Wednesday evening, as the UKC program starts at 8:30AM on Thursday morning. There is an unofficial networking at the hotel bar for FIRE participants on Wednesday night, 9-11PM. Please check your email for more information about FIRE unofficial networking events. The official program concludes at 1PM on Saturday after the UKC closing session, after which you are free to leave. Keep in mind that presenter lodging support is for Wed, Thurs, and Fri nights, so Saturday night lodging would be at your own expense. If you wish to stay at the hotel, the conference rate applies, and you can make your own roommate arrangements if desired for Saturday night.

A: We recommend you fly into San Francisco International Airport (SFO), as the Hyatt Regency SFO, the conference venue, is located only 3 minutes away from the airport, and there is a free 24/7 shuttle. The other airports in the area, San Francisco Bay Oakland International Airport (OAK) and San José Mineta International Airport (SJC) are not recommended as they are a 30-minute drive away from the hotel and there is no free shuttle service from these airports.
