FIRE Registration Fees, Lodging, and Travel Support

KSEA Members and Presenters Get More at FIRE!

As a part of UKC 2026, FIRE is excited to offer registration fees at discounted rates to KSEA members. Applying and registering for the FIRE Symposium as a presenter will discount these rates even further!

KSEA Members will receive a substantial discount on their registration fees when registering as a FIRE participant! We highly recommend you register for KSEA Membership before registering for UKC 2026!

If you are accepted to participate in the FIRE Symposium, be sure to complete the registration
by the early deadline to receive a further discount on your registration fee!

Registration fees depend on your current career status, so please check the chart below carefully to calculate what your fee will be at the registration screen. The option to register will be available on the UKC website once application results are sent back!

FIRE 2026 Registration Fees

**Presenter Discount Applies to KSEA Members ONLY**

Travel and Lodging Support for FIRE Participants!

The FIRE Symposium also offers KSEA member presenters generous travel and lodging support as well as a complimentary Saturday dinner!

Registered presenters who are also KSEA members will receive three nights of lodging at the hotel venue (Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday nights) in a shared room assignment as well as up to $400 of travel support round-trip depending on the distance of your home address to our venue.

Non-presenters or presenters who are NOT KSEA members will not receive any travel or lodging support,
and will have to cover these costs on their own.

Travel Reimbursement Policy

a. Reimbursement for your travel is provided up to the maximum amount based on a one-way Google map distance from your home address to the UKC venue, as shown on the left.

b. Reimbursement for driving a personal vehicle is calculated at $0.50 per mile one-way, up to the maximum amount indicated in the table above.

c. Reimbursement amount includes all travel costs (except for hotel lodging and meals), such as airfare, baggage fees, parking, subway, shuttle, taxi, Uber/Lyft, rental car, toll, personal vehicle, etc. Other expenses such as hotel tips will NOT be reimbursed.

There are a limited number discounts/lodging/travel/meal support available, which will be given to the highest quality presenter applications.

Your FIRE presenter application must be accepted to receive the discount/lodging. You will be notified of the result in the application decision by June 21, 2026. After acceptance, you will confirm your attendance by registering for the conference.
